Virgin Mobile’s plan options are a little confusing, but if you don’t mind dealing with Sprint’s slightly patchy network and you need data sharing, then Virgin Mobile’s Data Done Right plans are the way to go. Available exclusively at Walmart, these plans have replaced the unpopular and extremely confusing Virgin Mobile Custom plans.
Effective immediately, all of the Data Done Right plans
have increased the amount of data included and the single line plans have been reduced by $5. Here is what the
plans look like right now:
Single Line
- $30 – Unlimited text and low speed data, 300 minutes and 3 GB high speed data (formerly $35 and 2.5 GB)
- $40 – Unlimited talk, text and low speed data, 3 GB high speed data (formerly $45 and 2.5 GB)
Multiple Lines
- $60 – (2 lines) unlimited talk and text, 6 GB shared data (formerly 4 GB)
- $90 – (3 lines) unlimited talk and text, 10 GB shared data (formerly 8 GB)
- $115 – (4 lines) unlimited talk and text, 14 GB shared data (formerly 12 GB)
Customers who already have these plans should see the change when the monthly cycle renews. Unfortunately, if you did not purchase your Virgin Mobile device from Walmart, you will not be able to use these plans as the Data Done Right plans are available exclusively for Walmart. Overall, the plans are not too bad of a deal, really, especially when compared to other Virgin Mobile Plans.
