TracFone Offers Stay Safe Bundle

TracFone, one of the largest and oldest prepaid companies in the US has launched a new StaySafe bundle designed for customers who are more interested in using prepaid phones as backup and emergency devices instead of for day-to-day use. I’m not 100% sure when exactly this bundle was first introduced, but it is available right now in select Kroger stores nationwide. The $80 bundle includes the following:
  • an Alcatel flip phone
  • a hands-free headset
  • a car charger
  • an AC wall charger
  • 800 minutes with one year of service
From what it looks like, there is not a minimum calls per month requirement or a monthly fee with this offer. If the included 800 minutes are used, customers can simply purchase and load an additional top-ups, although I believe that the top-ups will be subject to whatever expiration the card in question includes which maybe shorter than a year. Top up cards that last for a full year range from $100 – $200 but cheaper cards with shorter expiration are available as well. For more information on StaySafe bundle, check out this page or visit a Kroger store near you. TracFone offers service through all four of the main carrier networks and sells both pay-as-you-go plans as well as monthly unlimited offerings. The company sells a variety of phones, but BYOD is not supported. For a full list of plan options, phones and other policies, visit Tracfone’s website.]]>
