No Contract Lumia 520 Available for $30
posted by Liz E. on December 9th, 2014 - 8:52 am | AT&T, Prepaid Phones
If you’ve ever wanted to try out a Windows smartphone and you haven’t, then you officially have no reason. As of today, Windows has dropped the cost of their AT&T-powered Nokia Lumia 520 smartphone from $60 to $30 with no annual contract. You just can’t beat a smartphone at that price.
The Nokia Lumia 520 has some decent hardware specs:
- Windows 8 OS (should upgrade to 8.1 upon boot)
- Qualcomm snapdragon S4 dual-core 1 GHz processor
- 512 Mb of RAM
- 8 GB memory
- 4 inch screen
- 5 MP camera
- Nokia HERE maps and Nokia Mix Radio pre-installed
All in all, it’s a pretty sweet deal, and for $30, you really can’t go wrong (provided you don’t mind going with AT&T for service). It would make an excellent backup phone or a decent gift for a kid or someone not used to a smartphone.
