EcoMobile Introduces Two New Plans

eco

EcoMobile, an MVNO operating on 3 of the 4 main carrier networks, recently added two new plans to its lineup. These plans are lower cost than what is currently in place, and seems to be geared more to the low-data user. All of the plans are available on Sprint, Verizon’s, and T-Mobile’s network.

The Plans

All plans include unlimited talk, text, and data, with various amounts at high speeds. Let’s take a look:
  • $20/month – 100 MB
  • $25/month – 500 MB
  • $30/month – 1 GB
  • $40/month – 3 GB
  • $50/month – 5 GB
  • $60/month – 7 GB
This is a nice continuation in the right direction, after EcoMobile did away with its point system and implemented a traditional lineup of plans. The company is continuing to work on adding more options so it can appeal to a larger customer base. It might not be the most bang for your buck, but I would say that EcoMobile is still competitive.

Other Features

EcoMobile also offers pay-as-you-go options for Sprint devices that don’t require any monthly payments, you’re simply charged $.05 per minute/text or $.10 per MMS/MB. You can view details on that here. The company also allows unlocked GSM or CDMA devices to be brought in for activation, with SIM cards available for purchase. EcoMobile operates using 3 of the 4 main carrier networks; Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile, providing high-quality coverage.
