FreedomPop Launches New Family Plan

FreedomPop, a freemium Sprint MVNO, has made some pretty big changes in the last few months. Just last month, it launched a self-branded smartphone, and added a prepaid phone marketplace late last year. Now, it looks like the company has officially launched its first ever family plan.  The new family plan includes unlimited talk and text and 1 GB of shared data per month. Users can add anywhere from two to ten lines to the family plan for a fee of $5 per line. However, much like the individual FreedomPop plans, users who require more shared data can pay extra for additional data. Here are the FreedomPop family plan options:
  • 1 GB shared data – Free
  • 2 GB shared data – $14.99/month
  • 4 GB shared data – $34.99/month
  • 10 GB shared data – $74.99/month
  • 25 GB shared data – $159.99/month
The plan is available now to customers. To sign up for a family plan and port over a number, you will need a to purchase a FreedomPop phone. Unfortunately at this time BYOP is not allowed for the FreedomPop family plan. To learn more about this deal or to sign up, visit the FreedomPop website.]]>
