Cricket Adds ZTE Sonata 2 to Lineup
posted by Liz E. on June 29th, 2015 - 8:48 am | Cricket
AT&T prepaid subsidiary Cricket Wireless recently added a new phone to its lineup, but I’m not even sure that it’s much worth mentioning. The ZTE Sonata 2 is a mildly under-powered entry-level device designed for people who want a smartphone, but don’t really care much about the quality. Running Android Kitkat 4.4 with a tiny battery this phone will be great for light users.
Here are some of the specs on the device:
- Android Kitkat 4.4
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
- 1 GB memory
- 4 GB storage
- microSD card slot (up to 32 GB)
- QuickCharge battery (1,650 mAh)
- 5 MP rear camera
- 2 MP front camera
- 4G, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity
The Sonata 2 is available right now from Cricket Wireless for the low price of $29.99. Which, for a smartphone, isn’t too bad. However, don’t be expecting anything super impressive from this little device, it’s mostly just made to function, judging by the specs.
Cricket Wireless has a number of plans ranging from $40 – $60 with unlimited talk and text as well as limited 4G data. Customers must pay a $25 activation fee when activating a new phone. For more information on Cricket Wireless, visit the website or check out our indepth review.
