I have a phone , Model W315 I want to reactivate under a NC number. I can't find that link or option to do it.
![]()
Alltel wireless is a ripoff How con one go for 3+ years with extra min. and comes time for alltel to sell and poff it"s gone
![]()
I have had my simple freedom phone for 3yrs and I love it. I have not had any problems with it. Have never gotten any free minutes but I still love my phone.
![]()
Terrible, terrible and TERRIBLE! I don't live in the middle of nowhere. I live in a state capital of 500,000 people. Still, every time I got into the signal from another cell provider, my phone would deprogram itself and stop working. Additionally, I had to go through 2-stage dialing, which means exactly what it says: I had to dial every number twice. Absolute garbage! I have Virgin Mobile now and it's awesome.
![]()
No longer like the service. I have heard from others that there balance is also mysteriously vanishing at 4:00 AM. They are charging your entire remaining balance for a "SUBSCRIBER STATE CHANGE CHARGE" whatever that means. As soon as my replenishment is used up, I'm going with any other service provider. Everyone please check your caller activity charge log, you may be surprised that your minutes $$$$ are being erased.

Been a SimpleFreedom customer for 2.5 years with no problem until this Dec. Last March I put $100 on account for 1 yr time and had nearly $350, since I rarely used the phone. I go to make a call and find that they confiscated the account due to non-usage! 5 hrs on the phone talking to 6 reps got me nowhere!

I have been a simple freedom customer for many years with no problems. Now they take my minutes away before my time is up i'll called 2 days before my 2 months is up they should tell you when you put them on so you both agree when they will run out.

I have been a simplefreedom customer for many years, i like the coverage areas, but have a problem with them taking 75cents a day for me to use the phone.free text and weekends is also a lie!!if you don't have 75cents you don't have anything.!

A big 0 is what I want to rate. Simple Freedom for me wasnt bad until about a year ago when my phone would flash roaming in areas where it never had before thus making it almost impossible to make calls;this number cannot be called from this phone is what I heard alot and I never did understand that and customer service couldnt explain it to me either. Double dialing and even triple dialing would sometimes go through. I wouldnt reccomend this service to anyone. I have a feeling Verizon has something to do with the drop in coverage and service.

This phone has good coverage, but the roaming eats up your minutes, you have to dail 1 plus if you are in roaming ALOT !!!!!It is too exspenive to use on regular bases. Good for emergencies is about it. Highly disappointed. It is truely a rip off. I purchased a Net 10 for my husband and he never has these problems. Simlpe Freedom is not here for the customers.I rate it ...0....if possible.

I would like to let you know that As a customer of simple freedom I am very disappointed in the help I have received thus far. I have been told by the store that I purchased my phones at that you did a recall on all the products and phones that I own the Kyocera KX16. I have three of these phones and need a new charger for them. can not even purchase one because you recalled the products. When I called about htis I was told no recall but that you just no loger carrier these products. Okay then I have to buy new phones and charges for three of my family members. This is really not affordable with the prices of everyhting these days I really do not appreciate being told to just go buy new phones. Let alone being told that they were recalled where I purchased them and then contacting you to find out what to do about it and being told buy new. If you recalled and quit carring these phones as well as all the problems that we have been having wiht them not holding a charge or staying on when they finaly take a charge is a product problem not a user problem. I feel that having to purchase new phones should not have to happen because you discontinued the sale of these products and the accessories for them should you not have let your customers know this so they could take care of the situation thru your company since they were your product. Please allow me to let you kknow that we have been happy with the sevice we received while the phones worked but since they have not been holiding a charge and staying on we have asled about them at your alltel sotres as well as where we purchased them and have been told they were recalled. If that is the case then should you not be sending some sort of reimburstment or claim tickects out so that those customers who have these phones can get replacements without having to put more money out of their pockets. YOur company did discountinue the phones and accessories without notifing your cusomters who have these phones and accounts. Thank you Tammy coots

I have had the simple freedom phone for 4 years. I haven't had any problems with it. I have been able to make calls to Michigan from Colorado, New York, and Tennessee without any problems. They have never given me any free minutes, but there's always a first time.
![]()
I have had the phone for four years and I really like it. I get excellent coverage about anywhere I go. I had to double dial a couple of times but I was in Virginia and once in Michigan. I never got any free minutes or free text but the phone is still cheaper than the lowest monthly plan around. I like the 12 months purchase for minutes. If you keep the conversations short the plan can easily last the 12 months.
![]()
My phone took 4 ever to activate, and I have called 3 times b cause my access apps Won't work n e more and they will not fix it. The price per min is terrible! I am switching 2 Verizon.
![]()
I hate the service, double dialing, wal-mart uninformed clerks. And being screwed out minutes.
![]()
had this for two years,it was great, now they suck. They put me on roam now it cost me 59 cents. When my minutes run out I will be looking for a different phone.
![]()

Purchased this phone 21/2yrs. ago for grandson. He messed up trying to register it to get it turned on so now I'm stuck with a new phone that can't be used.Any ideas to how I can finish the registration?HELP

I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone. My mother lives on the west side of the state of MI. When she leaves the west state so does her phone service. She can't make a call. Sometimes it has her dailing the number 3 or 4 times and it still doesn't work. It's too bad I can't rate 0 stars.
![]()
I had my simple freedom phone for three years and I loved it until it got broken. They send you these text messages to get free minutes or unlimited text for a year, and I always responded to it. I got free minutes in the mail every month and I had unlimited text messages for two whole years. I never had to wasted any money on my pre-paid phone. The only money I spent on it was $45.00 to buy it.
![]()
When I first got my Simple Freedom phones I really, really liked them. Now whenever I get more than ten miles away from home---I can't call anyone! Waste of money! I don't need a phone if I am home! I need it when away from home! Roaming calls suck! Can't even get through with the doubled up number calling to bounce off other towers. Just plain disgusted with the service now.
![]()
I forgot to mention that when they terminate your account they give your number to someone else, so when you add airtime thinking it will reactivate your phone, it goes to the other person that now has your number and your out the $$$ you spent on airtime...and it costs $35 to reactivate...what a bunch of BULL$#!*!!!...simple freedom my a$$!
![]()
I wish zero stars was possible! I'm in central Wisconsin and my phone was on roam from the day I bought it. They say "no contracts" and "pay as you go"...what a joke! if you don't buy additional airtime within 120 days your account is terminated and you lose your number...that, in many ways IS a contract. And as far as their customer service...it SUCKS!!!
![]()
PEOPLE NEED TO VISIT www.simplefreedom.net THEY HAVE REALLY UPGRADED THERE FEATURES AND PHONES THEY AREN"T AS BAD AS YOU THINK
![]()
Its not a good phone at all.
![]()
hey im daniel i have a simple freedom i love it cause it is in good use but im trying 2 see if my numba is tha same
![]()
I'm very upset with the customer service I received last night in reguard to over charges on all of our four phones. If this matter is not handled in a satisfactory mannor by today, we will be filling a claim against your company, and disposing of the phones. One thing that bothers me most is an emergency call to 911 which was charged 40 cents after my niece's accident. The next is the rep told me,"It's your porrogative" to toss my phones. Noway will I tollerate being talked to in that manner, especially when I'm paying you.
![]()
I just feel that you should allow a 5 day grace period when the time comes to add minutes. I was suppose to recieve a reminder that my time was coming up and i did not get one. Now this means I lose all my minutes that I had on my phone and I am disabled.
![]()
I do not like the change in the plan. We have no Verizon wireless in our area so at .50 a minute it gets costly.
![]()
there is no free freedom fromsimple freedom.
![]()
simple freedom sucks some serious donkey %$#^. I just loaded up my phone and i haven't even texted 3 (*&^%*& times and guess wat...IT SAYS "YOUR TOTAL BALANCE IS ZERO DOLLORS AND 2 CENTS. THAT SIMPLE FREEDOM IS A SELLOUT AND A BULL WASTE OF MY 73 BUCKS...YALL AT SIMPLE FREEDOM CAN GO TO %$@

We found our son's Simple Freedom phone to be nothing but a Simple Pain in the Butt...The phone was a christmas present last December. The phone quit working (3) months ago, and has been being "repaired" for 2-1/2 months. You can never call the outlet office to find out where this thing is at, and when you make a trip to the Alltel retail outfit, they can not find out when the repairs will be made, and IF they will be made...All they CAN tell you is that it is "being worked on"....We have made (3) trips to check on this phone's progress and today was the kicker....Alltel said the phone has been suspended as we have not paid the user fees in the last couple of months....well no kidding!!! We have not had the phone to use for (3) months and according to the "informed" Alltel rep. we still need to keep it activated....Again, the question was made "When will it be done?" Again the response was, "we can not tell you that, it is being worked on"......what a bunch a B@#$%^t....If I could give the pile a status of "0" Stars or "negative" Stars, it would get it!!!
![]()
I would give this phone a zero. Customer service is poor. I get charged 40 dollars for a 5 minute call with no explanations. When my minutes expire the phone will go in the garbage.
![]()
I don't like the idea that they stoped the program of adding air time on the internet. Iused to be able to do this til Alltel took over.
![]()
I do mostly texting and my dollar amount still drops like a 2 ton boulder. I liked the fill by website option and now that feature doesn't seem to work anymore and probably never will again. You'd think a major company would have tech people on hand to fix stuff like that, but the refill part has been down awhile now. Just a scam, cuz now they can charge you a service fee when you have to call them to refill the dollars.
![]()
My service has been great. I have a phone and my son. How do you check usage? I saw a couple people say something about checking usage?
![]()
i got my first simplefreedom in 2003 like the service i get,now have bought 2 more phone ,very good service, keep up the good services you have so far.
![]()
I've had Simple freedom for almost a year, and even though there have been some glitches, they have straightened themselves out, now my husband who said he will never carry a cell has taken over mine, now I need a new cell for myself. Simple Freedom could use a few more choices for ring tones
![]()
I will never spend another dime on a simple freedom phone. Twice in one day I had to call c/s, which of course took an hour, because I was being charged 55 cents a minute, and I wasn't roaming. When I looked over my transactions there was one call for 27 cents, which is really strange considering it's 15 cents a min. They charged me for 170 text messages in 3 days, which I did not do, and on top of that they have the times listed to where I would have to be sending 3 texts each minute some times. Anyone considering a new phone, please choose at&t or one that isn't a huge ripoff!
![]()
Most of you I have to dissagree with my simple freedom phone works great I get 100 freeminuts every month somtimes more becuase I have been a simple freedom cliant for about 3 years it all depends on how long you have been with them if you get gifts from them as for the minut loss jessica you bought a faulty phone and thats not simple freedoms fault they only endourse the phones thay dont make them
![]()
Its a great phone and for everyone saying its verzion like maybe a couple weeks ago i got a text saying alltel took simplefreedon over and thats what the boxes say when you buy them at walmart is alltel and i live in the middle of bfe in missouri and i can make calls and text all i want from my house to where as net 10 tracefone vigrin and verzion or even cingular will get a signal out here the funny thing is that my dad has a alltel phone and my simplefreedom gets a better singal out here than his alltel does so what does that tell u when alltel people can get a singal here but my simplefreedoms is better
![]()
i bought a simple freedom for my son and his wife, and my step daughter and step son, under the impression that the text messaging was free because they cant afford a home phone i thought it was a good idea well this really sucksi would never waste my money again, i have been an alltel customer for the last 9 years but as soon as my contract runs out so am i
![]()
these phones are great.i recommend it for anyone, anywhere, anytime.the reason they dont work all to well for most of you is becuase its jus like everything else in the world of electronics.sometimes you get good ones and sometimes you get bad ones,it has nothing to do with the service itself.if the phone you bought doesnt work well then nothing about its features will.you only bought one one and it wouldnt work right?well thats how japanese technology works.so jus go out and by yourself another phone its that simple.
![]()
they suck i sent my phone to get fixed so they sent me a new on but wen i tried 2 activate it they said that i needed a code that they r supposed 2 give me and they don't know it so i had 2 plug it into bitpim and figure out the code 4 myself and then they told me my account was disactivated because i didnt have time on it so i couldnt activate my phone then they took the free messages away and then i had 2 activate it with a different so now no 1 knows it and i dont have free text!
![]()
this phone is some bull waste of my $40.00
![]()
I bought this phone for my 9 year old. After activating it online, The phone would not work, called customer service 6 times 1st 2 times they said to wait 24 hours and it might work. The 3rd time they said to return it to WalMart and call them from WalMart to make sure it would work..(right like I could stand at walmart on hold for 30 minutes or longer)4th and 5th times told them my problems they put me on hold for first time 45 minutes and second time 30 minutes then hung up on me(this is after I drove 30 miles at 9;00 at night to walmart).....When I called back on the 6th time I felt like the non-english speaking gentleman had just got out of a meeting about me... He told me to take the phone back to walmart and get some different...He didn't care if we got the phone working or not. Their Customer Support is killing their business...

Good Coverge an Rates they put the simple in simple freedom!
![]()
I have a big beef with simple Freedom. They charge .15 per minute, but they cheat you on your minutes and when you call customer service about it, they put some foreign representative on the phone with you who is absolutely rude and refuses to replace your minutes. They steal your minutes constantly and its a pain to keep calling to correct your account; and then when you do, you get this person who calls you a liar and refuses to fix the problem. I'd rather pay more per minute than to have to CONSTANTLY have to put up with this.
