Prepaid Walmart Verizon Phones
posted by Tia Peters on April 2nd, 2014 - 10:33 am | Walmart Family Mobile
A lot of people are making the decision to forgo two year contracts when it comes to buying brand new smartphones. Not everyone needs the latest and greatest in phone technology. There are plenty of people that just want a basic phone that will get them through the day. That’s where Verizon’s prepaid phones come into play.
Prepaid plans are a lot cheaper than the plans you are likely to see with two year contracts. Here are some of Verizon’s prepaid phones that you easily purchase at the nearest Wal-Mart.
Motorola Moto G
If you want the highest end prepaid smartphone, the Moto G is the best phone for you. The Moto G is loaded with the newest version of Android: Android 4.4 KitKat. This makes it the most modern of all Verizon prepaid cell phones.
It comes with a five megapixel rear-facing camera and has a 4.5 inch HD display. When it comes to getting a phone for a bargain the Moto G is the best phone you can possibly get. It has mid-ranged specifications for a very good price.
LG Optimus Zone
Compared to the Moto G, the LG Optimus Zone is on the lower end of the spectrum. However, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a good phone. It is currently running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. However, Gingerbread is still a stable operating system.
It may not be running the most recent version of Android, but that isn’t going to hinder the performance at all. It has a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera and 3.2 inch display.
Samsung Illusion
The Samsung Illusion sets itself apart by having a nice, curved design language. Like many other Samsung phones, it is running the TouchWiz user interface on the top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It also comes with a camera, but it is of lower quality than some of the other phones on this list. It has a 3.5 inch screen.
Samsung Galaxy Legend
If you like phones in the Samsung ‘Galaxy S’ series, think of the Legend as the little brother. It is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
This makes it one of the most modern smartphones that’s available on Verizon’s prepaid plans. It has a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 3.4 inch display.
