Virgin Mobile to get LG Optimus One Android handset
posted by Joe on January 24th, 2011 - 1:49 pm | Virgin Mobile
For a while I’ve seen various forum posts noting that Virgin Mobile will get the LG Optimus One. It is an extremely popular entry level Android handset, and it amkes perfect sense for a prepaid carrier. It turns out that we’ll see it hitting Virgin shelves soon. Android Central has a shot of the price tag, which puts it at $149.99. We still don’t know exactly when it will become available, but shouldn’t be too long. The Optimus V, as it will be dubbed, should provide a nice alternative to the Samsung Intercept, which is currently Virgin’s only Android handset.

I work at a local electronic store and this phone has several returns. It was not only freezing on customer but will not turn back on. i think they should rethink making androids for prepaid cause of all the issues they are having with them.
