Earlier this week, we learned that UTStarcom is divesting its handset division. Sad news for Starcom fans across the globe. But they’re not quite done yet. Virgin Mobile has announced the release of a new device from the manufacturer, the Arc. It’s a rather basic clamshell phone, featuring Bluetooth, a necessity in the age of hands-free laws, and a VGA camera. The cost isn’t half-bad, though, running just $49.99.
