On the road this weekend? Get the MiFi on Virgin
posted by Joe on July 2nd, 2010 - 7:30 am | Virgin Mobile
Last week we got first wind that Virgin Mobile would launch the MiFi, a mobile hotspot that works with its Broadband2Go service. We had most of the details at hand at the time, so there wasn’t much new we learned when Virgin announced its launch this week. The one thing we did get was a price reduction on Virgin’s USB dongle, the Ovation MC760. That goes from $100 to $80. If you’re going to be away from the office this weekend but want to remain connected, this seems like one of the best deals out there. You can get the MiFi, the Ovation MC760, and a Broadband2Go plan at Radio Shack or Best Buy, or otherwise at Virgin Mobile’s website.
