Get the LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile, if you can
posted by Joe on January 27th, 2011 - 9:10 am | Virgin Mobile

On Tuesday night, Engadget reported that a number of outlets, including Target stores, were already selling the LG Optimus V, an Android handset from Virgin Mobile. This is certainly ahead of the official release, since Virgin has not made an announcement. Want to see if your local Target is carrying it? PhoneNews.com has some useful instructions. You’ll have to ask for the internal SKU 080-02-0724, and then follow their steps for activation (it requires a workaround, since it’s not in Virgin’s activation system). If you’re on the fence about this, check out this hands on review at Howard Forums. The handset costs $150.
