Verizon’s Unleashed $50 prepaid option coming soon
posted by Joe on September 6th, 2011 - 1:27 pm | Verizon Wireless
Fans of flat-rate, unlimited plans got some good news a month ago when we heard that Verizon prepaid would expand its $50 unlimited plan from select markets to nationwide. It appears those plans will come to fruition next week. Mike Dano of FierceWireless reports that Verizon will make Unleashed a nationwide offering on September 12. There is no official comment from Verizon, though that’s pretty obvious; they’re not going to comment on something they haven’t yet announced. In any case, look for the announcement next Monday. Verizon figures to get a lot of play around this. $50 is pretty cheap for a big-brand national carrier.
