Verizon launches landing page for Unleashed
posted by Joe on April 27th, 2011 - 9:35 am | Verizon Wireless
Earlier this week we learned that Verizon prepaid would release a $50 unlimited plan, mimicking many of its competitors. Verizon now has a landing page on its website for the service, dubbed Unleashed. It is available only in select locations right now, but expect an official announcement soon. As expected, the service features the LG Accolade ($39.99), the LG Cosmos ($99.99), and the Pantech Caper ($79.99). Those in Verizon’s Florida and Southern California markets can give it a try now, while the rest of us will have to wait.

Heyhey! Verizon just woke up to the fact that people are turning to prepaid, and to affordable unlimited talking, texting, and data. Still, with the phones they offer, as well as for the price, Verizon is still far behind tracfone’s straight talk, and Boost mobile’s unlimited initiatives.
