Motorola i776 headed for Boost Mobile
While the information is sparse, what you see above is the Motorola i776 from Boost Mobile, soon to be available through Target. While it will surely be carried elsewhere, it looks like Target’s the one that slipped up and leaked the info early. Honestly, I saw this at Phone News a couple of days ago, and I’m surprised as hell it hasn’t been taken down yet.
Not much is there in terms of specs. We learn that it has GPS, and that, duh, it’s a flip with text messaging capabilities. It does boast 3.5 hours of talk time. Yet, all is not well. As you can see below, it still contains the signature Nextel stub antenna. Not saying it’s the ugliest thing in the world…but it’s sure close. No, we haven’t heard anything on pricing or availability date yet. But at least we know it’s coming, and have the images to prove it.

i had the i776 it is one of the worse phones i have ever bought. For starters the main Screen is way to small for the face, second the camera is the worsed, all pics come in blurry and you cant zoom, third the speaker sounds like crap even at low volume, forth the memory is almost none if u take 4 pics your almost out of memory, and last but not least they seem to lose connection to the network for no reason. I had sent it back to motorola 6 times all for the same reasons i finally just told them to keep it and send me a differant type of phone which i love and thats the i885. Motorola should just recall all i776’s and just burn them so everyone save your money and dont buy the i776

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!! Phone is bad..Boost unlimited plan will nickel and dollars you to the poor house…No ring tones worth paying for nor game. Camera gives blurred pics. No video.I missed my KRAZOR.Signal strenght is a joke…

I have boost mobile and I haven’t had any
problems with them or this phone neither has my bf we love this phone i have the i776w which is cute but basically the same as the normal i776(only color difference) unlimited plan rocks!!!$50 buck a month is great and i talk and text all day and send pics and video b-4 they did charge for pic (not anymore)this is definitely a phone for someone who wants to just talk and text!!!its awesome just wish i could watch YouTube videos

This is the worse phone I have ever bought. When you speak with somebody you lost the signal, they dont heard you or you dont heard them. I send two times to Motorola, and when the phone back is the same thing. Dont buy this phone, pretty outside, fake inside

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! This is the worst phone EVER!!! My husband and I paid 100 dollars for this and it isn’t even worth $50! the camera pictures come out sooo horrible that it shouldn’t even have a camera feature on it! The screen is so small and has poor quality! Texting is wierd and for some reason every time I receive a text it says “DOWNLOADING” and it takes a minute or two before I receive a text! There are so many other things I HATE about this phone but I could go on and on. This is the WORST phone ever.

i have this phone and it works great. All the people complaining about signal or the “downloading” should realize that its part of boost’s service, not the phone… It should only have to download if its a picture message. I have 5 bars of service in WI and haven’t dropped a call yet, nor have I had any complaints about call quality. Unlimited plan ftw

wish i would have read this before i bought it,bad phone always hanging up on calls,it does not want to call out sometime.the volume is low,i feel like a old person talking loud because the other person cant hear me,and i keep having to ask them what did you say,i cant hear you.im gonna try and get my money back it was a waste and my money dont grow on trees

I’ve had problems charging my phone. it says its charging but really its not. I even had the screen get all snowy on me. I really dont like this phone and I just got it a couple of months ago.

I bought this phone for my daughter for her 12th birthday. Her first phone, and after 4 days, it is broke, the screen is showing lines and no picture. I am very disappointed. The place I bought it from won’t take it back, so now I am pissed…have to call the damn Motorola peeps and send it in…which means spend more money…PISSED

This is the worst phone I’ve ever had. I haven’t even had it 6 months and first the sound went out. It only works on speakerphone. Now the screen is stuck and I have no function of my menu. It stays stuck on the main screen, or if someone calls it stays stuck on connected to screen until another person calls. I can’t check my texts, get to my phonebook or anything else because of this. I know another person who has the same exact problem with this phone.

Horrible phone, drop calls, can not hear a thing and people think I am stupid cause the way I sound. I need to use the speakerphone to have a conversation. Do not buy it!

I can only talk on my phone by using the speaker phone . . . very annoying!!! My calls are dropped. I am ready to change to a different phone service. I am very disappointed with this phone, which is not worth $100, nor the headache that comes with it.

I cant get any multimedia messages for some reason. When I get a text message it says “downloading” for a few minutes before the message comes up.I cant get my gps to work. I lose signal. And when on the phone i hear a windy noise in the background.

all together we have had 4 of the motrola 1776 my daughter bought the first one and the speaker quit. Then it was replaced. Her husband bought 2 more fior him and gave 1 to me. First my daughters replacement phone qiit you could only use it on speaker. I just thought they were hard on them and used them alot. yesterday my speaker quit and you have to use the extermnal speaker. I think Motorola should recall these phones. They don’t last very long.
