I just bought a ST phone, but haven't activated it yet. I have been a Tracfone customer for well over 5 years now. I have even recommended Tracfone to other family members. All of us have been happy with their service. We primarily chose Tracfone because we don't use the cell phone a lot and the price was right. Yes, customer service could be better, but I have had just as many positive encounters with cs as I have negative. You all want your cake and eat it too. If you want to pay a reasonable price for cell service then you need to learn to live with some of the cons that go with a cheaper service. The only reason why I haven't activated my ST phone yet, is because I am trying to use up my Tracfone minutes before I port my #. I look forward to continuing my business with the Tracfone enterprise.

You guys are a trip! I have used straight talk for 6 months now and I have not had a single problem. Everything, including web browsing, works fantastic! There has to be some human error on some of your guys' ends or maybe some of you bought the cheap phone and are expecting it to be like a smartphone? I simply bought the best phone they have and even bought another for my wife. They are wonderful! TY ST!

"I have a tracphone thats already activated. Can I use it to switch over to there straight talk plan"

You can port your Tracfone # to a Straight Talk phone. You have to buy a Straight Talk branded phone with a Straight Talk 'plan'. Your current Tracfone minutes won't transfer, you'll lose them.

i am a ST employee [CSR] well i must agree with you that customer service sucks, cause it does. no customer service is in the united states. and we have one script they we MUST say over & over again to all our customers. you think that's bad? well, the problems that you may experience from your ST phones are issues that we cannot really fix, we are limited to what ST allows us to fix. ST itself does not give the tools to their customer service reps to have the issues resolved, don't blame the reps, they are constantly bombarded with customer service pressures that customers gives. the persons from CS are new, they themselves don't know most of the issues likewise haven't even seen a ST phone. the service of the CS reps own phones are services that are provided by that particular country, and its much better than what you ppl are buying and calling a deal.
the customer service can be better, i agree, but the CSR need something to work towards, like better pay.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! CANNOT UNDERSTAND THESE PEOPLE & ASKING FOR A SUPV. DOESN'T HELP. THEY CAN'T SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH EITHER!! Straight Talk has removed java & java-enabled games that were pre-programmed by the manufacturer (Samsung sch-451c). Cannot get games; cannot download games onto the phone. They only offer ringtones & graphics. However, I have had several Tracfones & ALL of them had games pre-programmed. Returning the ST phone has been a nightmare. Now they are delaying porting my number to another carrier, which could cause me to lose the number. Who can I report this to?
