TracFone Adds New $20 Plan to Lineup

TracFone, an American Movil company that offers service through Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, recently made an addition to its plan lineup. The most recent monthly plan addition, which is available now, is a surprisingly good value on some of the networks. The newest $20 plan is only available for smartphones and includes 300 minutes, 1,000 texts, and 1 GB of data each month. There is no rollover, and TracFone’s popular triple benefits do not apply. There is a 5% discount for customers who sign up for auto-refill, however. Here’s what the TracFone smartphone plan lineup looks like right now:

  • $15 – (30 days) – 200 minutes, 500 texts, 200 MB
  • $20 – (30 days) – 300 minutes, 1000 texts, 1 GB
  • $25 – (60 days) – 500 minutes, 1000 texts, 500 MB
  • $35 – (60 days) – 750 minutes, 1000 texts, 1 GB
  • $125 – (1 year) – 1500 minutes, 1500 texts, 1.5 GB
Add-ons for data and texting are available. 1000 additional texts costs $5 while an additional GB of data goes for $10. The new $20 plan is actually pretty competitive if you get it on the Verizon or AT&T network. That amount of data will cost anywhere from $15 – $20 more from basically any other carrier, making this a great choice for some users. The other smartphone plans, however, are decent but nothing super exciting. For more information on TracFone, or to sign up for the service, visit the TracFone website.]]>
