Batterys on any phone wouldn't last more than a day or two w/ the constant search for a signal in these areas. Tracfone's been so far so good. A lot of people are too eager to get the R810c touchscreen, go to the ST website and get burned ordering it. Patience is a virtue. ST has lousy customer service , the reviews prove it. I know it requires an application and applicants must qualify in order to receive the phone. I think this a great social program that Tracfone is offering, especially during these tough economic times. I know a few people who actually qualified for the free phone and free minutes and they are truly grateful for the program. Way to go Tracfone!
