Rumor: T-Mobile 3G announcement on December 6

Hi there! If you're new to the site, you may want to subscribe to the the feed.

Rumor has it that on the day before a date which will live in infamy, T-Mobile will announce the rollout of their 3G network. A T-Mobile spokeswoman has reportedly told The Inquirer (a British publication), that the announcement will come “on or before December 6th.” Good news for those who have been chomping at the bit since T-Mobile won a government auction for the spectrum.

  3. It sure looks like there is something to this. T-Mobile’s website does list the Shadow as having “high speed internet” whereas a phone like the Dash (which has been out a little over the year) specifically says “Wi-Fi” and “Edge.” When you try to play the flash demo of the Shadow, something weird happens; the window opens and then is instantly closed (as if we are not supposed to see the demo just yet).
