Nokia X2 coming to T-Mobile prepaid

TMoNews.com found the above image, which describes a phone coming to T-Mobile prepaid on February 16. It’s the Nokia X2, and, well, it appears as though messaging will be a cinch. There’s no mention of a camera, which seems odd. It does have multimedia capabilities, though, which is nice — as is access to the Nokia Ovi store. Still, this is a pretty basic messaging device and little more. There’s no pricing, but as long as it’s under $100 it should be an attractive option for heavy texting T-Mobile customers. ]]>

I’ve seen alot more and more smartphones going prepaid. I went to a Verizon store to enquire about activating my q9. It could be. But it will cost $94 a month. I’ll buy another phone like the Virgin Mobile or Boost Blackberry. Or I could revive back to Page Plus. I’ll take the BB for the apps.

I’m disappointed that Cricket isn’t in Los Angeles. At least not yet. It looks like a good carrier to use. Maybe Prepaid Reviews could use their pull and get Cricket available here in LA. They’re everywhere else in California except here in the biggest market in the state. Go figure!
