Best Buy Offers Rollover Data for Sprint Prepaid

It looks like Best Buy and Sprint have teamed together to finally bring some decent data rollover to Sprint Prepaid customers on all three Sprint Prepaid plans. This promotion launched yesterday and is listed as ‘limited time’ although I couldn’t find an advertised end date anywhere. In order to get the rollover data, customers must purchase a phone and activate a Sprint Prepaid plan at a Best Buy location. When activated, unused data will automatically roll over to the next month and will not expire. Sprint has placed a rolling data cap of 30 GB (although if you have that much unused data then you should probably just downgrade your plan). Here are the Sprint Prepaid plans that will be available:
  • $35/month – Unlimited talk and text, 1 GB rolling data
  • $45/month – Unlimited talk and text, 3 GB rolling data
  • $55/month – Unlimited talk and text, 6 GB rolling data
Current customers who purchased and activated Sprint Prepaid phones at Best Buy prior to May 31, 2015 will not automatically get the rollover data and will need to contact Sprint to migrate to a rollover plan. I do not believe this plan is available for customers who BYOD or purchased a phone through another seller. For more information and a list of available phone, visit Best Buy’s website.]]>
