PrepaYd Wireless now lets you bring your own Sprint phone
posted by Joe on October 10th, 2012 - 7:30 am | Prepayd Wireless
Yet another prepaid carrier has started offering a bring your own device option. PrepaYd Wireless, an MVNO of the Sprint network, recently announced that customers can bring their own Sprint devices for activation. The only catch: not all devices are compatible. For instance, you can’t bring the iPhone, a BlackBerry, or a Palm device, nor can you bring any LTE phone or any push-to-talk handset. There are probably other case-by-case. In addition, while they run on the Sprint network no Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile phones are compatible either. PrepaYd recommends that customers visit an authorized dealer for activation. You can visit www.prepaydwireless.com/locator to find a location near you.
