AT&T confuzzles the hell out of GoPhone customers
Good news, everybody! As the month turned to June and Cingular changed to AT&T, the company has announced a few “upgrades” to their GoPhone prepaid service.
Now, get out a pen and paper, while we try to explain this.
GoPhone offers customers the option of paying $1 per day to lower their per-minute rate from 25 cents to 10 cents. Those customers now have the option of adding 3,000 off-peak minutes to their plan for $20. Now, for everyone else…
They have a gamut of new text messaging plans, starting at $5 for 200 messages and going up to $20 for 3,000 messages (which will surely give you a case of Blackberry Thumb). There are also two data plans available. A dollar will get you 1 MB, and $5 will get you 5 MB.
All in all, not too shabby. Now, let’s see if this has anything to do with the availability of a prepaid iPhone.

“AT&T confuzzles the hell out of GoPhone customers”
Yes the confuse the %$#@!^ out of customers. Are these services for GoPhone “Pay as you go” Or GoPhone “Pick Your Plan”. In addition is roaming In mexico covered by the Gophone “pay as you go” or GoPhone “pick your plan”. We already know that coverage is different for these plans from AT&T. One carrirer different coverage and services for people who pay them upfront – Not on credit.
