A trick for cell phones if they start acting weird: while the phone is turned on, pop off the battery cover and take the battery out. Wait 30 seconds. Put battery back in and put cover back on, then turn the phone on. This reboots the phone and has worked every time for me. I've used Virgin prepaids for a long time and only the Cyclops gave me trouble, but the rebooting thing always got it working again.

Has anyone had any problems with their slash since they got it? I have had mine for several months and it was working fine till yesturday i was in the middle of a call (battery power was high) and out of no where the phone just shut off! Now i have never dropped it or got it wet but when i turned it back on and tried to scroll down through the menu the buttons started going bizark for example if i pushed the down button it would go to my create a new message screen and then if i pressed back it would bring a bunch of random numbers on the screen... now i can only recieve calls i cant make them or send messages to ppl or anything i even tried to reset it i even went as far as trying the emergency download code (by turning it off waiting a few seconds and then simultaniously pressing and holding end and 9 at the same time) nothing has worked! Anyone else having trouble???

It's alright. the pad used for the scroll buttons fell off, and I have no idea where it went, so I'm going to see if I can get a new one. but I do get a lot of compliments on how it looks. I feel it was overpriced, but thats just me. good post m8

This is a great little phone! I just bought mine yesterday, and I love it. Not only is it a good looking phone, but sound and call quality is excellent- better than any other phone I've owned.
Sure, the pics it takes are blurry, but I'm not a big phone camera user anyways, so that doesn't bother me.
This is definitely one of Virgin Mobile's best.

Yay, my phone! I get lots of compliments on how it looks. Actually, I think the camera is very good for a VGA camera. Look a this picture I took: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v214/kpopgrrl/?action=view&current=outside.jpg

Also, this phone does have an IM program with AIM and Yahoo Messenger. (It's not listed in the page on Virgin Mobile's site). It also has a Mobile Email application and Virgin Mobile's Headliner application.
