Unfortunately, these candybar masterpieces are not available in America currently. Probably because we Americans aren’t as keen to prepaid as our European counterparts. Given success overseas, though, maybe BIC will eventually find an American partner, possibly Tracfone, for distribution. The crazy part is that BIC isn’t even manufacturing these themselves. They’ve passed those duties onto TCL. So what’s BIC’s play here? Is the brand itself going to help sell the phones? I suppose we’ll find out when they hit French shelves on August 7.]]>
