Nab the Web browsing LG CG180 from AT&T GoPhone for $10
posted by Joe on August 5th, 2008 - 10:00 am | Prepaid Phones
I’ve been running across some prepaid wireless deals lately, and I thought I’d start passing them along. Today’s comes via a link from xpdig, a social news site which pretty much rips off Digg. Anyway, today we’re looking at the LG CG180 from AT&T Go Phone. It might look like a simple candybar, but it provides some bang for your buck — especially considering that the bucks are only 10, after a mail-in rebate.

Clearly, for $10 you’re not getting a top of the line phone. This won’t play MP3 ringtones, nor does it handle MMS. But it does have a Web browser, and can also access MEdia Net. It should look just fine on your 128 x 128 display.
It does feature a voice recorder. To buy one separately would cost well more than $10. And it weighs in at just 2.5 ounces, so it wont’ weigh your pants down. In other words, it’s a simple phone that has a number of desirable features. Once again, can you go wrong for $10?
