Motorola Drops Price of Moto X 2014

Motorola is reportedly on the verge of releasing the 2015 version of its super popular Moto X. So, of course, the company has dropped the price of it’s unlocked Moto X device and is offering customers several promotions in an effort to drum out the last little bit of business before the next release. Here are the promotions that are currently available for this excellent device:
  • 30 day risk free trial – For a limited time, customers can design their own Moto X with the Moto Maker and test it out for 30 days. If customers are unsatisfied, the phone can be returned with no hassle and no fees. However, if customers want to keep the device, then they will get a $50 credit towards the device.
  • The new off-contract price during this temporary promotional time has been dropped from $499 to $350 before the risk free trial rebate. You can also buy it from Amazon for $299.
  • Customers can apply for Motorola Credit and purchase the phone for $0 down and 0 interest if paid in 6, 12, or 18 months. Learn more about the credit here. This program functions basically the same as the phone contracts carriers are pushing with postpaid accounts, except you won’t be tied to a specific carrier or plan and the device will be unlocked.
The Moto X is one of the more popular devices from last year and while the phone is mediocre, I heard nothing but good things about the actual device itself. The Moto X can be used with all carriers and most prepaid companies, especially so if it’s unlocked. For more information on the Moto X visit Motorola’s website.]]>
