Boost Unlimited gets Motorola KRZR
Hi there! If you're new to the site, you may want to subscribe to the the feed.
Boost Unlimited has been growing rapidly over the past nine or so months. They’ve picked up hundreds of thousands of customers (sometimes to the detriment of their “PayGo” division), and have expanded their services area to nearly a dozen new markets. The one consistent complaint, though, is that they have almost no handset selection. This is par for the course for Boost, who offer just three handsets on their “PayGo” side. On Boost Unlimited, they only had two, but now they’ve picked up a third: the Motorola KRZR.
“Now is the perfect time for us to introduce the popular MOTOKRZR to our Unlimited by Boost handset lineup,” said Boost’s VP of product development Neil Lindsay, in a statement. “We doubled our base from 224,000 to 500,000 Unlimited by Boost customers in Q4 alone, and introducing this feature-rich handset will help us keep the momentum going.”
Boost Unlimited’s exposure continues to grow, as they’re featured at retail outlets like Radio Shack and Wal-Mart, in addition to Sprint retail stores around the country.
You know the deal with the KRZR. Multimedia player, 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, GPS, and web capabilities. The phone will run you $249.99, but a month of service comes along with that charge. Monthly charges vary by region, but typically don’t eclipse $60 per month.
