I have the 30 a month and 150min. That is not .50 a minute do the math.

I just posted a reply on the the first blog as well. I don't know why people are bashing Jitterbug as expensive - my mom's plan is only $30 a month and she gets 150 minutes. That's only 20 cents each, not 50 cents. The customer service has so far been great - they all speak english! So far so good, and we're about 4 months in with the Jitterbug.

I have seen the Coup and the Jitterbug. I have yet to find what is better about Coup than the Jitterbug, except maybe that it was named after an expensive car. Like car, like phone, right?

I hope that this new phone is just as useful as Jitterbug. Looking at Jitterbug site: http://www.jitterbug.com/?utm_source=AARP%2BBlog&utm_medium=Media&utm_campaign=AARP%2BBC
there are different plans. When Seniors are not talking on the phone nearly as much as everyone else, what does it matter that the rate is a little higher; at least the ease of use more than makes up for it.
