Page Plus lowers text messaging and data rates
posted by Joe on July 28th, 2011 - 7:30 am | Page Plus
There’s no press release to go along with this item, which is odd. You’d expect a company would want to publicize their rate reductions. Page Plus has dropped the rate on its text messaging and data rates with the standard plan. Text messages, which used to be 8 cents each, are now just 5 cents. Data, which used to be 1.2 cents per kilobyte ($1.20 per megabyte), is now 0.9 cents per kilobyte (99 cents per megabyte). If you’re already on Page Plus, you’ll notice these changes already. If you’re not, you can sign up for a plan at Page Plus’s website.
