Yes they are . BUT, they deduct from the 20 megs of data for DATA TRANSPORT so you can only get as many mms messages that 20 megs can transport. You have an unlimited amount of mms messages but only 20 megs of transport. After that, it's $1.20 a meg for overage charges for data.

Who says there isn't a price war? There's been one raging since January when Boost fired the first salvo with their $50 unlimited everything plan. VM being bought out by Sprint is the next salvo.
Sprint mvno Platinum Tel just beefed up their $50 unlimited offering from just plain talk to unlimited talk/text/100 megs web. To get this on VM at current rates, you would need to spend $80. Don't think that VM is just going to sit around with Sprint in its corner and other Sprint Mvnos getting aggressive. I see VM's unlimited plan offering talk/text and a lot of web. Maybe even unlimited within the month.

How can they not? I also see possibly per minute rates /non plan rates getting reduced and the other plans under $50 getting revamped to fall in line with the new flagship plan.

Boost says they are going to stay out of the fracas they started, but I think as soon as they have one quarter like what Metro and Cricket went through, they'll be changing their tune real fast.
