Ultra Mobile Debuts Data-Centric Plans

Ultra Mobile, a T-Mobile MVNO focused on international calling, has introduced two new plans this week aimed at customers who want more data and fewer international calling options. These “Data Plus” plans are priced at $34 and $44 and offer limited LTE data with unlimited lower-speed data. Unlike the regular plan options, the two Data Plus plans only include unlimited international calling to 10 countries—as opposed to 40 or more with the other plans. The 10 countries included are: Canada, China, France, Israel, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom and Venezuela. All of the countries include landline calling, but only a few offer mobile devices as well. Here’s an overview of the two new Data Plus Plans:
 • $34 – 1000 minutes, unlimited text (domestic & international), 1000 international minutes, unlimited international calling to 10 countries, 2 GB high speed data, unlimited low speed data
 • $44 – unlimited minutes, unlimited text (domestic & international), unlimited international calling to 10 countries, 2.5 GB high speed data, unlimited low speed data
The other plans Ultra Mobile offers all include, by contrast, international calling credit, unlimited calling to 40 countries and free international minutes. They also tend to have less data. For more information or to check out the plans and coverage, visit Ultra Mobile’s website.]]>
