Locus’s O2 service now available at Family Dollar
posted by Joe on September 5th, 2008 - 7:30 am | MVNO
There are plenty of neglected children in our pay as you go cell phone providers list. That’s mainly because they don’t generate much news. Or if they do, it somehow escapes my daily searches (so send one in if you see it). Today, we uncover one of those providers, as O2, a service of Locus Telecommunications, has announced that their product will be available at over 6,500 Family Dollar stores across the country. Before I write another sentence, I want to be clear that this is not to be confused with the O2 wireless service over in the UK.
“Our relationship with Family Dollar makes it even easier for our customers to recharge their O2 Wireless service throughout the US,” commented Pete Grubb, VP of Sales and Marketing at Locus Telecommunications. He added, “Our companies have a long history of providing high-value products and superior services to middle class Americans and we are pleased to be partnering with one of the fastest growing retailers in the US to expand our O2 Wireless Wireless programs.”
This is honestly one of the few providers I haven’t tried. Mainly because I haven’t found them available at any retail outlets. Their user review section is pretty bare. Anyone out there use O2 and want to comment on it?
