Defense Mobile Ups Data

I hope that everyone is having a really great Independence Day!! It’s all thanks to the US Military that Americans everywhere can take the day to have a BBQ, shoot off fireworks and generally just celebrate. So, today I thought it was especially appropriate to talk a bit about Defense Mobile, a prepaid wireless company that offers service to active and former US military members. In April, the veteran-staffed company officially launched with a series of plans for individuals, families and various international calling. Offering service through both Sprint and AT&T, the company is reportedly working on a Verizon partnership as well. In order to be eligible for this 100% military veteran-ran organization, customers must be one of the following:
  • US Military Service member (including National Guard or Reserve)
  • Officer Canidata in a commissionign program (Academy, ROCT, OCS/OTS)
  • Veterans (defined as a former member of the uniformed services who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable)
  • Retirees (defined as a former member of the uniformed services who is entitled, under statute, to retired, retirement or retainer pay)
  • Military spouses or Military family members
The company does all kinds of things to help give back to military, veterans and their families, including donating 10% of net profits to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, Boulder Crest Retreat Foundation, Johnny Mack Soldier’s Fund and more.
