Samsung Indulge hitting MetroPCS this week

Good news, everyone. We’ve been seeing more and more evidence that the Samsung Indulge, an Android device in the Galaxy S line, would hit MetroPCS pretty soon. Via Phone Scoop we learn that it will be “available by the end of the week.” That means it will beat the Thunderbolt, HTC’s LTE Android phone for Verizon, to the market. As expected, the Indulge will cost $399 off contract.

NOTE: Some early rumors about this device had it coming with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front facing camera, too. Those are not true. The camera is 3 megapixels and there doesn’t appear to be anything on the front. We have heard about a few Android LTE devices heading for MetroPCS, so perhaps there was some confusion between the two.

If you want a full look at the device, check out Engadget’s walk-through.
