The latest rumor we heard about the Samsung Indulge is looking more accurate. As PhoneNews.com notes, the device has passed through the FCC approval process and is now on its way to MetroPCS. It’s an LTE Android smartphone that stacks up with many of the recently released models. If the rumor holds true, it will hit MetroPCS on February 23 for $399.99.
Note: There were a lot of questions about this in the previous thread. Forget about the Samsung Forte. That was an internal name. The Indulge is the same thing, just renamed for the public. ]]>

How accurate are the specs on phonenews for this phone?? Some websites I am seeing there is no flash and front camera and then others sites are telling me there is a front camera and a flash? Can anyone clarify which it is?
Also there has been talks that this has not been verified as a Galaxy S phone but it has all the features of a Galaxy S phone, could this be clarified as well?

The Galaxy S branding is correct. However, there is no front camera and no flash. Camera is 3 megapixels, not 5.

Will this phone be an AMOLED? WHen I thought it was to be called the Forte, I checked it out and it said that the Forte was an AMOLED, but now nothing is mentioned about that and suddenly there is a front facing camera and a flash. THe 23rd just needs to come on already and clear everything up..
Someone told me that it’s only a 3MP camera, without flash and without a front facing camera. This person said that they held it and messed around with it, but honestly everything is still such a rumor still, so I am not sure if you’d be able to find out what’s really there Joe? I don’t believe it’s a Galaxy S phone either because there were talks about it being hard to subsidize a Galaxy S phone and how Metro Customers would not pay 500+ dollars for a new phone… But I beg to differ. At the same time, I doubt they’ll release a Galaxy S phone now since there is the rest of the year…

ijust went to the MetroPcs site and they already have the phone on their page but it looks like you are right about the camera looks like is no a 5 megapixel and doesn’t say anything about the front facing camera but i will go to the corporate store to see it myself the phone and tomorrow i will let you know if our waiting were worth waiting…

I don’t understand how they could name this phone the Galaxy Indulge if it doesn’t even meet half of the Galaxy S’ specs.. I am definately not going to be purchasing this phone. Definately a let down.
