Motorola to supply first Android phone for MetroPCS
posted by Joe on June 7th, 2010 - 7:30 am | MetroPCS

Just a day after passing along a rumored Android handset for MetroPCS, Android Guys pass along something even better. During the weekend they posted a number of images of the device, including the one you see above. The Motorola device should come with Android 2.1, which is currently the latest version. Android 2.2, a/k/a Froyo, was announced last month and should hit advanced Android devices soon. It also has a 600 MBz processor and a 3 megapixel camera. As with the Motorola i1, expect a high up-front cost to go with the $50 unlimited plan.
