MetroPCS seeking more spectrum

As MetroPCS finds itself in competition with much larger carriers for LTE customers, it will have to find expansion wherever possible. As we learned in the case of Cricket, regional carriers will have capacity issues. To offset that, MetroPCS is seeking another $1.5 billion term loan that will help it buy more spectrum and foster partnerships. One of those partnerships could be LightSquared Inc., which has recently come to agreements on LTE roaming. ‘
