		<description>even though this new family plan seems like it&#039;s jipping customers, it&#039;s actually a more affordable family plan then what metro was offering prior. the difference is that with this new plan, all existing plans are $5 dollars cheaper (preferred unlimited is usually $45, now $40; unlimited local+long distance and call features usually $40, now $35; etc).

let&#039;s say you wanted 4 lines: 2 with texting+pic messaging+internet, one with just texting, and one with just local+long distance+caller id.

with the old family plan it would break down like this:

$45  - primary line $0 disc. = $45
$45  - 2nd line $10 discount = $35
$43  - 3rd line $10 discount = $33
$40  - 4th line $10 discount = $40
                       Total = $153

new plan:

$40  - primary $5 discount  = $35
$40  - 2nd line $5 discount = $35
$38  - 3rd line $5 discount = $33
$35  - 4th line $5 discount = $30
                      Total = $133

the new family plan offers the most savings!

next time, read the fine print :)</description>
