MetroPCS pushing Motorola with mail-in rebates

It looks like MetroPCS is promoting a couple of their Motorola phones by offering mail-in rebates. The Motorola VE440, recently released, now comes with a $30 rebate, and the Motorola Hint comes with a $50 rebate. You can check out these models on the MetroPCS website.

   i think metro pcs is scamming people offering rebates that you never received. i have been waiting for six months for my rebate and have not gotten it. there is no number to call or web site to check status. Metro pcs customer service is worthless they dont know anything. I am going to report them to the better business bureau. if you have not gotten yours join the fight against Metro PCS. we cant continue to let them get away with this. I am going to change cell phone companies as well…

   I did my rebate form about 3-4 weeks ago and I havent gotten anything yet, I know it hasnt been long enough but I did find a phone number under the terms and conditions for the rebates on the metropcs website. that phone number is 1-866-292-6177. I havent called it yet but I plan on it. I hope that can help you

   Which Rebate is this for? If it is for the Great Phone Deal Rebate, there is a number listed in the fine print of the form, otherwise you can look at http://www.metropcs.com/promotions/ and check the status of it online.

   Sent in Both of my rebates 8 weeks ago and nothing yet. Nor have they contacted me. There goes $90 into someone else pockets. The Attorney General will be hearing from me very soon.

   Well, I have been waiting almost 3 months and I have not received anything —- mine is with Samsung and today I called them and they have no record of me even though I called them a month ago and they said the $40.00 rebate was processed and it should go out soon..

   I mailed in all my required info on 4/20/10 and have yet to rec my rebate. I didn’t even c a # in the find print but I read “Tracy’s thread above and believe me I will be calling them. I also thing this is a bunch of BS. Where the hell is my rebate??? We all need to eat over here!!! lol

   I sent out my rebates in the beginning of March, still nothing. I had copies of my rebate forms but I had a flood and they were destroyed. Now I am not sure what to do. I hoped that I would get my rebates without a problem, but I am realizing that these rebates are rip-off.

    Of course I did not get mine either. Mailed in Feb 6th. It says yr suppose to get tracking no. Did anyone, who got their rebate, did u get tracking no by email?

    yup, received my tracking number a few weeks ago. when i tried to track it, it kept saying the number was invalid, still haven’t received my rebate. I think it’s ridiculous how long it takes, I ordered an item from Hong Kong a couple weeks ago and I received THAT quicker than my U.S. rebate. WOW

    I have contacted Metro Pcs Three time and have been assured each time that my rebate denial was a mistake and it was taken care of.. Well it hasn’t and I am calling Detroit Station Ruth to the rescue today, I get the feeling Metropcs is scamming peoople and not paying the rebate..
    I filled out the rebate as stated and was told by metropcs is was invalid, then I told them I have all the reciepts and it is Valid, well we will take care of it Mr. Tanner. Yea Right…

    Ok, I was promised a phone call today from a supervisor at Metropcs. It has not come, and I don’t think it will.

    I think a bunch of us need to get together and let Metropcs know that we are serious about this….

    I am willing to start a complaint to the Michigan Attorney General and if any one else wants on board please let me know….

    Finally got a email from metropcs stating that I had incorrectly gave them the wrong meid number and they have updated it..

    Now the rebate center says it is in processing (which looks hopeful) and I was told to look for it within 30 days.

    The thing that gets me is I know I entered all the correct info and I was told twice this was taken care of…

    Of course it is saying its in processing….
    I’ll let you know if I get it…

    They received my rebate second week of Oct. didnt go in there system until 1 month later. After 20 calls with several excuses from can’t find, invalid, wrong tracking number given to me, talked to 3 supervisor, each promising to forward it to upper management. Then something is wrong with system…wait, wait and wait. Even customer service putting me on hold for over 20 minutes etc. I finally called asked again for supervisor and got his name and Id number before I talked and ask for cooperate office number if I couldnt be helped. He looked in it and said because I brought my phone number to Metro that makes it invalid. “B.S” I wasn’t told that. He was very nice and gave me another tracking number and told me it is in the process look for it in 30 days. Ok I will wait again and update in 30 days if I receive my rebate.     Ok, finally got my rebate for $100. last thursday…
    I can’t believe it… I guess bitching enough finally did it…

    I also recieved my $15 amazon card that I got from another phone the next day…

    Thank you Metro Pcs… I didn’t think I would ever see the day….

    Keep on them , hopefully your experience will be better then mine….

    I bought a expensive phone months ago and have not to this day received my rebate as yet called serveral times promise always a few weeks. Next step is the better business association. They are scaming people out of money

    I got my rebate for the four phone I bought on Metro PCS before,, they sent me four $50 each, it take a lot of time, and my daughter bought phone last December , I got rebate again for $50,, and my eldest daughter bought phone also, and so far,, waiting for another rebate,, just go to Metro PCS/rebate status,, you will find all the answer you need
