MetroPCS launches ZTE Z78
posted by Joe on December 16th, 2008 - 8:30 am | MetroPCS

Back at CTIA, ZTE was one of the more intriguing companies. They were bringing simple, easy-to-use phones to prepaid carriers, and some of the models looked to be above average. We’ve seen the Z79 flip phone. Now it’s time for the Z78 candybar, which MetroPCS launched late last week. The phone features a VGA camera (blech), a 2-inch display, and 60 MB of internal memory, which lets you load songs to play on the internal music player. Yes, it has Bluetooth, and can handle picture, instant, and text messaging. The best part, as far as Metro PCS customer are concerned, is the price. You can nab one, contract-free of course, for $129.00. While the phone isn’t superb, Mobile Whack gives it a 2 out of 5, for the price it’s a good bargain at Metro.
