MetroPCS introduces $25 talk and text plan

With such a great emphasis on smartphones and data services, it seems the market for plain old talk and text unlimited plans has waned a bit. Apparently MetroPCS sees an opportunity there. They’ve launched a new plan that offers unlimited minutes and text messages for just $25 per month. It is compatible with just three handsets — the Huawei Pinnacle, Kyocera Presto, and Samsung Freeform III. That works, since these phones aren’t exactly primed for data usage, anyway. The plan is available for only a limited time: through June 30th currently, though that could change depending on demand. You can sign up for the $25 plan at MetroPCS’s website.
