MetroPCS getting Huawei Ascend in December
posted by Joe on November 1st, 2010 - 7:30 am | MetroPCS

Last week we heard that it was coming, and today we have a bit more information. MetroPCS plans to release the Huawei Ascend, and Android handset that is already available from Cricket. Via PhoneNews.com, we learn that the target release date is December 4 and that it will cost $179.99. There is also the possibility of a $50 mail-in rebate to help ease the price a bit. The device is exactly the same, featuring Android 2.1, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and Wi-Fi.
