MetroPCS adds Samsung Freeform III
posted by Joe on July 8th, 2011 - 7:30 am | MetroPCS

Earlier this week we learned that the Huawei M835 was available from MetroPCS. I’m not sure if I missed it when going over the MetroPCS website, or if they added another handset later, but they’ve also apparently added the Samsung Freeform III. It looks like a smartphone, but it’s really just a full-QWERTY messaging phone that resembles a BlackBerry. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, and you’ll be able to listen to your favorite tunes with its media player, storing them on a microSD card of up to 32GB. The Freeform will cost $49 plus tax, and is compatible with Metro’s $40, $45, and $50 monthly plans. You can get the Freeform III and a plan at MetroPCS’s website.
