MetroPCS adds Huawei M228 and LG Helix to website

These aren’t exactly an exciting pair of handsets, but they’re new additions nonetheless. MetroPCS has added the Huawei M228 and the LG Helix. We first learned about the Huawei M228 in November, but had yet to see it available. It’s a very basic device, featuring Bluetooth and little else. We previously saw the LG Helix when Cricket added it in October. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and Voice Clarity, which can aid when talking in a noisy area. You can get the Helix for $89, minus a $25 mail-in rebate, so $64. The Huawei M228 costs $59, but also has a $25 mail-in rebate, bringing the temporary price to $34.
