LG Esteem Android phone coming to MetroPCS

The multiple screenshots above are of the LG Esteem, an Android handset that is rumored to hit MetroPCS in October. It’s a fairly advanced device, featuring a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and an HDMI output. There are other, higher-end Android devices on the market, but when it comes to prepaid carriers this is one of the tops. If you’re familiar with the LG Revolution on Verizon, this is basically a clone, though it has only 4GB of internal storage (down from 16GB). It’s looking like an October release, so we’ll stay tuned on this one. Figure for it to land in the $300 range.

More likely $400. Both previous MetroPCS LTE phones (one of them an Android) debuted at $400 before eventually coming down in price to $300 months later.
