Huawei M835 (Ideos) available at MetroPCS
posted by Joe on July 6th, 2011 - 7:30 am | MetroPCS

Pictured above is the Huawei M835, the newest Android handset available from MetroPCS. It’s not new-new, though, as it was released with T-Mobile as the Comet and with Cricket as the Ideos. It comes loaded with Android 2.2, which will please many users, and it has other standards for Android smartphones, such as WiFi and a digital camera (3.2 megapixels). It won’t process at lightning fast speeds, and it won’t utilize Metro’s LTE network, but it will get you around the web and let you use Android apps at an affordable price. It’s just $79 plus tax. You can get the M835, and an unlimited data plan, at MetroPCS’s website.

i find it interesting that a 2.8 screen 500mhz processor phone receives a pretty nice blessing considering the samsung admire didnt. the admire has a 800mhz processor and a 3.5 screen, which both should be a minimum for android. however, its description led me to avoid it. i tried the crap m835 and it should be free. dead slow and no pinch/zoom makes most apps worthless.
