10 iPhone problems you may or may not have been aware of
posted by Joe on August 14th, 2007 - 11:30 am | iPhone
There are surely plenty of sour grapes strewn about this list of 10 problems with the first generation iPhone, but it’s an interesting list nonetheless. It was penned by Willie W. Lu, who claims to have been a mobile phone architect for 15 years. There’s plenty of technical mumbo-jumbo, so it might be a bit daunting. The main points: the iPhone is open to viral attack; AT&T is the wrong carrier for the phone; there will be many patent issues (it’s already happening); and the engineers of the device will be poached by competitors. Once again, plenty of sour grapes.
