Rumor: Cricket’s first 4G LTE to be LG Optimus Regard
posted by Joe on November 7th, 2012 - 7:30 am | Cricket

What you see above is a promo bit for the LG Optimus regard, which, according to a CricketUssers.com poster, will be Cricket‘s first 4G LTE smartphone. It looks to be a formidable model, featuring a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and running Android 4.0. The downside: a small screen. While the exact size doesn’t appear in the rumored specs, the low 320×480 resolution suggests a 3.5-inch screen. That’s both a small screen and a low resolution for such an otherwise powerful device. We have heard that Cricket will launch an LTE smartphone this month, in addition to new markets, so everything seems to be falling in place.
