Radio Shack reportedly getting into MVNO space with Cricket

Engadget shows leaked documents suggesting Radio Shack intends to launch an MVNO. We’ve seen many larger brands offer MVNO services, meaning they resell service from larger wireless carriers. What makes Radio Shack’s offering stand out: the leaked materials point to Cricket Wireless as the partner. This seems a bit odd, because Cricket itself has MVNO-like features; it rents network space from Sprint in order to serve a larger portion of the country. The handset listed is the HTC One V, which is available through Virgin Mobile. Clearly we need more details before making a judgment on this. Will Radio Shack also take advantage of Cricket’s Sprint network agreement?]]>

Anymore updates on when the “10 new phones” are going to be released?? So far, it’s only that giant looking blackberry and the HTC One V sometime, and some iPhones, which I don’t want.
I love cricket and have been waiting to purchase a new phone b/c I wanted to see if they’re coming out with an Android better than the Huawei Mercury. My phone is giving out and I’ll need to purchase soon. How long will I have to wait and is there anything that’s going to be better than the Huawei?
    Thanks!
